Unlike most chocolate in the West, which has lost its original potency through heavy processing, ceremonial cacao is crafted with minimal intervention, preserving its natural fats and nutrients so its full effects can be felt. Our cacao is wildcrafted on a female Mayan-owned land in Suchitepequez, Guatemala, where ancestral traditions are kept alive. Every piece carries the loving energy and intention of the hands that nurtured it—from seed to cup—imbuing it with care, connection, and reverence.

- Chop your cacao
- Cover the bottom of a pot with water and add the cacao
- Melt slowly on low heat while stirring until smooth
- Add your preferred amount of water and/or plant milk
- Add spices of your choice. We love cinnamon, cardamom, pinch of salt
- Stir until really creamy
- Pour into your favorite cup

Listen to your body when choosing the dose. As cacao works on a more subtle level, it might take some time until you become sensitive to its effects. We recommend working with it daily in the beginning (best on an empty stomach) while reducing any other stimulating drinks that contain caffeine. Over time, you will find the amount that works best for you.
